Role Overview
Mission One is seeking high-caliber professionals to support intelligence programs in critical enabling roles, including Program/Project Management, Knowledge Management, Technical Editing, Intelligence Planning, and Analytic Tradecraft/Compliance.
These positions are essential to operational excellence—ensuring intelligence organizations maintain high-quality production, effective workflows, mission-aligned deliverables, and disciplined tradecraft standards. Candidates may specialize in one function or bring experience across multiple enabling areas.
This posting is designed to build a scalable bench to support national security missions across Defense, Homeland Security, and Intelligence Community environments.
What You’ll Do
Depending on your functional specialty, you may:
- Coordinate and manage program execution, schedules, deliverables, and customer engagements.
- Provide workflow governance across intelligence production and dissemination processes.
- Ensure analytic products meet customer and tradecraft standards (e.g., clarity, sourcing, objectivity, and formatting requirements).
- Create, edit, and quality-check intelligence deliverables including assessments, briefs, reports, and executive-level materials.
- Support structured analytic methodologies, compliance checks, and tradecraft quality assurance processes.
- Build and maintain knowledge repositories, dashboards, and documentation for analytic teams.
- Provide intelligence planning support, including collection synchronization, requirements management, and operational planning integration.
- Track RFIs, mission priorities, and analytic production metrics.
- Support training, SOP development, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Enable collaboration and information sharing across distributed teams and mission stakeholders.
Functional Specialty Areas
Program / Project Manager (Intel Programs)
- Manage execution of mission deliverables, staffing, timelines, and risk
- Lead customer engagement, reporting cadence, and performance metrics
- Support contract performance oversight and program governance
- Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables across the team
Knowledge Manager (KM)
- Design and manage knowledge systems, repositories, and workflow tooling
- Maintain team SOPs, analytic libraries, templates, and tasking trackers
- Enable mission continuity, rapid onboarding, and process optimization
- Support collaboration tools and information-sharing practices
Technical Editor / Content Editor
- Edit and polish intelligence products for clarity, consistency, and impact
- Ensure formatting compliance and product readiness for senior audiences
- Standardize templates, writing style, product structure, and citations
- Support briefs, executive summaries, and report production at scale
Intelligence Planner
- Support requirements management, collection planning, and synchronization
- Track mission tasks, RFIs, and analytic production pipelines
- Integrate intelligence efforts with operational planning workflows
- Support coordination between analysts, collectors, and mission leadership
Analytic Tradecraft / Compliance Specialist
- Conduct tradecraft reviews and quality assurance for analytic products
- Ensure products align with tradecraft standards
- Support structured analytic techniques, bias mitigation, and source validation
- Develop compliance frameworks and review checklists

Required Qualifications
- Active Secret / TS / TS-SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in relevant field (Intelligence Studies, Communications, Business, Political Science, Data Analytics, etc.).
- 3+ years experience supporting intelligence, defense, or national security programs in one or more enabling functions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to produce or support high-quality deliverables under time constraints.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with analysts, program leadership, and mission stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DHS, DoD, Combatant Commands, or Intelligence Community environments.
- Familiarity with reporting standards, briefing formats, and intelligence production cycles.
- Experience with tools such as:
- MS Teams / SharePoint / Confluence
- Power BI / Tableau
- MS Office Suite (advanced Word/PowerPoint)
- Experience managing deliverables on federal contracts (program execution, reporting cadence, performance metrics).
- Experience supporting SCIF environments and secure workflows.
