Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Training and Education Advisor to join our team! As a Training and Education Advisor, you will be working with key department in the Department of Defense (DoD) to understand their training needs, and develop new systems and strategies for training, learning, and growth. Ultimately your success will be measured by the success of those around you, and how well you can identify new opportunities for development. The ideal candidate has exceptional problem-solving skills, experience building a training program, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Training Programs: Assist with the design, implementation, and support of Marine Corps training initiatives, including the JNTC Program.
- Analysis & Reporting: Conduct training evaluations, after-action reviews (AARs), and support the development of training metrics.
- Operational Support: Update training directives, support interoperability training, and assist with Marine Corps plans and operations.
- Documentation & Task Response: Prepare point papers, research reports, meeting notes, and after-action reports (AARs) for key events and engagements.
- Event Participation: Participate in conferences, wargames, and training-related events as needed.
Requirements
- Experience: Experience with Marine Corps training programs, TECOM, and the JNTC Program is preferred.
- Skills: Strong analysis, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Marine Corps processes, action tracking systems, and joint training concepts is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- The ability to work well independently

- Experience with Joint National Training Capability (JNTC), DOD Combatant Command Training Programs, and related military initiatives.
- Understanding of Marine Corps training policies, pre-deployment training programs, and joint/interagency training.
